Those are not the real names of the libraries, which are originally
distributed in source code form as something like libdvdcss-1.2.2. So, the
question about the two compiled libraries been equivalent or not should be
answered by the packager.
I have the suspicion that it can be given as source considering it as
experimental software, for study use or something similar. I have even
seen some programs that explicitly forbide distribution in binary form.
