I`ve used grub.
The boot is halted about the testing SCSI devices... (I can`t explain it in
more details because of I`ve tried to install RedHat and it has worked with
my configuration without any problems.)
I prefer to use SuSE, but I don`t know how it`s possible to solve the
problem.
I`ve tried the boot with new initrd is created with help of new mk_initrd
script,
but it`s not work anyway.
Sergey.

Probably - if you supply somewhat more information what your problem is: how far do you get during boot and are you using grub or lilo.
