HI all, Now that Christmas and New Years holidays are over and you have had time to put your new computer parts in, what are you going to do with the old parts & systems? How about recycling them? It's better than letting the stuff become hi-tech doorstops and it's much better than stuffing the local landfill with parts that will sit there for 1000's of years. I can use anything on the list below: Hard Disks of 4gb or bigger (bigger is better <G>) Memory 72pin --- 16mb, 32mb, or 64mb 168pin -- 64mb or bigger 56k modem cards CDroms 4x are fine ( got a DVD laying around? <G>) CD-RW burners of any speed LS-120 drives Zip drives ( I can use Zip 100 Disks too) internal cables IDE / SCSI Mother Boards -- Anything above PI For example I have an AMD slot A CPU but no MoB for it CPUs PI 233mhz and up CPU Fans PI type Video cards with more than 8mb memory or 3D types 100mbs network cards #### Odds & ends -- anything special or odd.. I might have missed it or just never thought about it. #### I can not afford to pay you for any of this stuff. But if you send me anything I'll take care of the postage (surface only, ie cheap) by sending you US dollars (personal check, I've got an account in the US). An € account in Germany too. BETTER , if you are a stamp collector, would be me sending you German FDCs (I have West German, Berlin, & DDR) or German stamps, we can work something out, I'm sure.
