I had to delete a unique key before to get my sound card to re-install back in SuSE 7.x. So I'm thinking that it might be worth removing this key and starting over again - but I can't > remember where these keys are kept.
I have the same problem with my sound card now. The card was working fine, before I had to reboot the box because of a power failure in the area. Now there is no sound and I have two unique keys for the sound card. My question like yours is where the keys are kept so that I can delete the duplicate and restore the sound.
