Which office app would anyone suggest? I have tried OO and Koffice but they both seem hard to use. I would appreciate any suggestions.
David, I'd either get used to OO or StarOffice, or KOffice. There really isn't any better available. 99% of ALL user preferences are TOTALLY what they are used to......period. I've been teaching users how to use software for too many years, and this is true NO MATTER what platform they use. It's normal to not like change, but work with the software awhile and I'd bet you'l find 1 of these 3 that you like.

Thanks Fred, I will continue to use OO and KOffice, I think they are both great programs. As a tech for the last eight years I know what you mean about not liking to change. I switched to linux on my personnal unit because I was tired of M$ BS which is the same reason I did not use thier office apps. The only thing I miss on linux is an app like corel print office, as to wordperfect I feel that OO and KO are just as good if not better. I have several customers willing to switch to linux but most are using M$ Office for most things an CPO for all there form generation so until I can find a way to get at least the templates converted to an linux app I am going to have a hard time converting them. Once again thanks to you and all the help I have recieved from this list. David Barrow
