stopping SuSEconfig from resetting certain things?

How can you disable certain things that SuSEconfig syncs?
I want to use SuSEconfig for most things, but for instance, I don't want
it to config my fonts, or maybe mozilla. How can I disable certain
things? Every time I run it, it resets my custom TrueType fonts, so
they get reset back to the 8.1 defaults when I restart the X server >:(
Thanks,
Jeric
