Yes. -Any- package with the name MPlayer will fulfill the requirement. Hell, you could compile Mozilla but forget to change the name of the package to "MPlayer" and kdebase3 wouldn't care (the real Mozilla probably would though...). kdebase3 just checks the name of the package. Speaking of MPlayer though, I noticed kdebase3-SuSE depends on it. I had planned on recompiling it from source and using checkinstall to make an rpm. If I set the prefix=/usr and --enable-gui will that satisfy the dependencies of kdebase3-SuSE or is there something else? Anybody know?
