If you have the tracks in wav format you can do this cdrecord dev=0,0,0 -audio track01.wav track02.wav track03.wav track0... and see if that works. The "dev=0,0,0" may need to be changed. Use "cdrecord -scanbus" to get the device number your recorder is using.
- I compiled 2.4.19 kernel and copied it to /boot. I need to add it in lilo.conf to specify some parameters including initrd. I gave the name of an existing an initrd. Am i supposed to create a new one if i have no problems?
If you compile a kernel of the same version as the default, the original initrd will work. If/when you upgrade to a higher version number you'll have to recreate the initrd following the steps Carlos gave
- Before scsi emulation, my cd drives were supporting filenames longer than 8 char. Now they don't. How can i fix it?
the ISO standard (9660) only allows 8 characters, with a 3 character extension. If you want to use long file names you have to add "Rock Ridge" and/or "Joliet" extensions.
ps. Thanks a lot to Mr. Anders & Mr. Carlos who replied. Things are getting more clear every day..
Please. Anders is a first name. Use it, or if it's absolutely necessary Mr. Johansson. Mr. Anders sounds like a hairdresser :) Anders
