If you're using KDE, ksim is probably a better choice over gkrellm, simply for the interaction between ksim and the rest of KDE. It's basically the same thing. I love it! I have a little window (set up to be "always on top") telling me how long my computer has been up, the amount of free RAM, the speed of my power supply fan, the temperatures of both my processor and case, and the input/output of my Ethernet connection. All in a nice little box taking up _very_ little desktop real estate. On Monday 11 November 2002 22:41, Graham Smith wrote:
Have a look at Gkrellm, you can set it up to display throughput of you Internet connection. The package is on the SuSE distribution. If you install the sensors package you can then monitor CPU, Fans, etc. Well worth the effort.
