Hi
I've submitted a bug(*) report on kmail, and was asked to send the backtrace. Which I did, and got complaint that it was useless, and I was asked to compile kmail again and enable debug. Ok, so I installed the kdenetwork3-3.0.3-107.src.rpm (SuSE 8.1pro) and it was installed in /usr/src/packages/SOURCES/kdenetwork-3.0.3(/kmail).
But I did not find any instruction on which arguments to pass to ./configure as I'd recon I might have to compile kmail with same arguments as SuSE has done, just replace --disable-debug with --enable-debug=full.
Is there someone who know which arguments to pass???
SuSE's method of packaging kde is slightly - shall we call it exentric Edit the file /etc/opt/kde3/common_options. In that file you'll find the variable "configkde", where "--disable-debug" and "--enable-final" are defined. Edit that, and then you should be able to build the kdenetwork3 package with rpm -bb --target=i586 /usr/src/packages/SPECS/kdenetwork3.spec regards Anders
