Ok, so the additional install images are gone, so can I compile a kernel on another system, then put it on a bootfloppy and use that to install 8.1? With default kernel I get "compiled for Pentium+, requires CMPXCHG8B feature" ...so can I just compile it with the CMPXCHG8B (whatever that is) and any other non Pentium options? Or, is there anyway to force this puppy to install on an older AMD? Thanks, Jeric
