If your running SuSE 8.0 then the name of the kdebase package is
kdebase3. You can see this by doing this...
rpm -qa | grep kde > kdepkgs
The open kdepkgs in your favorite text editor to see what pkgs begin
with kde are installed.
If you do the 'touch /root/.skel/kdebase3' then this should fix your
issue.
