I googled the internet which turned up a reference to gdm.conf I think this is the file that the old GDM-Configurator in SusE-8.0 used to manage. SuSE-8.1 uses a new front-end which does not appear to support all available options. I used a text editor to change /etc/opt/gnome2/gdm/gdm-config which was well commented. I added lines for 2 additional displays. After telinit 1 followed by telinit 5 I now have 3 X servers running on vt07 thru vt09 So, now I can start multiple xservers with XDM or GDM. ¿Does anyone know how to achieve this within KDM or WDM? -- Regards, Sylvanus A.
