Circa Mon. Oct. 28, 2002 at 00:39:35 +0100, a lone cry was heard from

My problem, as I understand it, is that when I go to compile the source version of mozilla it's finding the wrong GTK libraries. I was hoping someone could help me out.
Do a whereis gtk-config If it can find it and if it is located anywhere other then /usr/bin, just simply symlink it to /usr/bin. If it can't find it then you don't have gtk-devel installed.
