Hi, I just tried to take a look at tkdesk too today, and had the same
problem. I found the .so file in the /usr/lib/itcl3.3 directory so I made
symlinks from all the .so files there to /usr/lib and did a ldconfig.
Then when I tried to start tkdesk, I got a different error ------ something
about not being able to rename ictcl_config, or something like that.
I gave up there.
