Hello List, Hopefully someone can eliminate the latest bug introduced in the latest KDE updates. It seems that when trying to send mail or queue mail from the compose window in KMail, it crashes with a sig 11. The same thing happens when trying to open a new project in KDevelop. I also find that KEdit has the same problem. Seems all of them share the same bug and since they all show up with a reference to /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3, I would guess it has something to do with that? There has already been mail about this, a few days ago, but I have not seen any resolution concerning it. I am not sure if this is a bug introduced from SuSE or KDE, but from the online patches, I am going to point a finger at SuSE for the moment. Here are a couple of the errors I got from my .xsession-errors file: *** KMail got signal 11 (Crashing) KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2 KCrash: Application Name = kmail path = <unknown> pid = 21986 Mutex destroy failure: Device or resource busy *** KMail got signal 11 (Crashing) KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2 KCrash: Application Name = kmail path = <unknown> pid = 22030 No parent pixmap for child widget QViewportWidget KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2 KCrash: Application Name = kdevelop path = <unknown> pid = 22677 Mutex destroy failure: Device or resource busy Mutex destroy failure: Device or resource busy *** KMail got signal 11 (Crashing) KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2 KCrash: Application Name = kmail path = <unknown> pid = 22449 error stat'ing fd 3: Bad file descriptor Thanks for your help and information.
