Nope, the latest release is cdrecord1.11a38. It can be downloaded on ftp://ftp.fokus.gmd.de/pub/unix/cdrtools/alpha/ remove the IDE-SCSI emulation and do a cdrecord --dev=ATAPI:1,0,0 --scanbus Sorry to say that the documentation isn't mentioning how you must locate your ATAPI device. The version of CDRECORD in SuSE 8.1 is 1.11a which is the newest that I could find on Google.
