ssh problems

Hello list,
I recently installed a SuSE 8.0 server at work and it runs prefectly except for ssh.
I can't ssh to the box all the time, not even on the internal network, I don't have any personal firewall running and sometimes I can log in and sometimes not.
Anybody got ideas on how to fix it?
