Greetings!
I recently purchased a new EPOX 8K5A motherboard that has a HPT 374 RAID
controller built in.
I connected my Windows hard disks to the primary IDE controllers on the
motherboard.
I connected two IBM hard disks to the HPT 374 RAID device. When I try to
install SUSE 8.1 the splash screen comes up then it reboots. Always. I've
isolated that problem to apic.
When I try safe settings the drives on the RAID are not recognized, just the
ones to the primary IDE controller on the motherboard. I get to the
partioning portion of the install but only drives hda and hdb show up. What
happened to hdc on my RAID?
I'd like to install Suse on the RAID drives.
Any ideas?
