Everything still works fine with it all set to ide-scsi. I
can play dvd movies, I can mount the dvd, but YaST still
only reads the cdrw drive. I did notice this, and have to
research it:
<3>kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k
scsi_hostadapter, errno = 2
I assume that is failure due to no scsi card...not positive
though...
I believe something is screwed up in YaST2....because the
piece of hardware is working perfectly. YaST just cannot see
/dev/dvd which is now pointing to /dev/sr1
