Printing is one of those thngs that is used by the Powers to punish me for
transgressions in past lives. :-) What printing service do you have
installed? CUPS? LPrng? What is the actual name of the printer you
configured in YaST? lp?. Is there a $PRINTER variable set. If you're using
CUPS take a look at the man pages and figure out how to get a dump of the
config. (I don't recall.) Have you attempted to restart the print server
with something like 'rccupsd' or 'rclpd'? Have you tried 'lpr
/path/to/file.ps' *without* the '-P'? How bout 'lpr /etc/hosts'. That's
always my default 'is the @%^ printer working at all?' test. Way back when,
we used to have problems with new versions switching up the actual printing
device. How are you connecting? USB. LPT?
