I had the same kind of troubles
At first YOU did not work like it should. Patches were downloaded but then YOU
crashed.
Then I noticed that installing software was not possible anymore :(
I did a reinstall/update in the hope that I could select a new install of yast
but I could not find it. But there was some stuff installed and after that
yast2 (and YOU) worked again :)
Now I am trying apt-get to work. There is a lot of stuff downloaded so I hope
everything still works.
It seems that an upgrade is made for kde -> 3.04 :-)
apt-get gives a lot of more info
