Trying to install the latest stable version of plib and get this:



hecking for ranlib... ranlib
checking build system type... i686-suse-linux
checking host system type... i686-suse-linux
checking for X... no
checking for glNewList in -lGL... no
checking for glNewList in -lMesaGL... no
configure: error: could not find working GL library

Mesa is installed, whereis GL says /usr/lib/GL

Done everything I could think of, whyisn't it finding these files?

Oh the one on the SuSE DVD is way too old for waht I need it for, plib
1.6 is my minimum (have tried development version too).

Anyone got any ideas?
