-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi: I have a box running SuSE 8.0. I have my /etc/hosts file set to contain the following: 127.0.0.1 localhost 192.168.1.16 mycomputer However, after a while, I noticed I could not print. The lpr command said it could not find lp@localhost. I looked into /etc/hosts and it was empty. Is there a process that would periodically "clean" the hosts file? The box is not connected to the internet, and nobody logs in as root. Any hints would be appreciated. Regards. - -- Alfredo J.
