I don't know the details of exchange server/client licence pricing since I'm not a microsoft customer, but from what I can read on the net, the Bynari licences are less than a third of what you'd have to pay if you stay with Microsoft, and you're not giving up functionality. It looks like that's the other way around. Using korganizer to connect to an exchange server. The Bynari thing is a way to replace the exchange server, so it's a different market. I suspect it's easier to get companies to replace one exchange server than several hundred or thousand outlook clients (although I'm sure that will happen eventually.
