Thanks Ben! I tried to follow your advise.
Removed .galeon directory from home directory and every mentioning of galeon
in .gconf , .gnome directories. Alas, no joy!
The message
** CRITICAL **: file mozilla.cpp: line 134 (gboolean mozilla_preference_set(const char *, const char *)): assertion `new_value != NULL' failed.
is still there, certificate authorities list is empty.
Where else may I be screwed up?
I also tried to start galeon as completely new user, the result is the same.
