Folks, Prior to the upgrade from the initial kde 3.0 release to 3.02 and more recently 3.03, I have always been able to run KDE apps from remote ssh sessions on my pc. Now I get a number of errors. Everything runs fine when I logged in locally on the machine. This only happens on ssh sessions. All applications produce this error, but some apps like kedit will open and be functional afterwards: "QFile:could not open file" and another repeating error I failed to capture concerns "unable to attach to network socket" konqueror starts up but generates the following error when attempting to open a url. Even the latest releases have this problem; "/opt/kde2/lib/libksycoca.so.3: undefined symbol: newItem__11QCollectionPv" kmail refuses to run at all. Can some one assist in what could be causing this and how can it be corrected.
