I'm looking at getting some kind of Linux Cert to prove that I have some idea of how linux works.
Does anybody have any opinions on which is better:
CompTIA's Linux plus Or the the LPI LPIC-1?
Or should I rather just try and do both eventually?
I prefer the LPI certification since it is vendor neutral. The organization has been very professional in my dealings with them. Even though I strongly prefer vendor neutral certifications, the RHCE seems to carry a lot of weight at the moment, at least in the U.S. I have one CompTIA certification (Network+) and I found it overly simple. However, I don't know what is on their Linux+ test. Best Regards, Keith -- LPIC-2, MCSE, N+ Once in a moment, it all comes to you As soon as you get it, you want something new Got spam?
