Southbridge error during boot

Hello all - During boot up, there's a message, "Unknown VIA southbridge: contact Vojtech Pavlik " Vojtech has yet to reply. Anyone else want to suggest a course of action? System is acting flaky. Does a disk check even though I shutdown cleanly. Version 7.3. Thanks
