If you want to use YaST, you can install the version on the 8.0 CDs, but
be aware it's quite out of date now.

Open YaST, and select software installation
Select the gnm series
Select every package in it, unless there are any apps you especially
don't want
YaST will resolve the dependencies
Let it install them
