That because of the fact SuSE cannot load the parameters from your
boot-floppy.

Suggestion: Why don't you install Lilo on the MBR? That would be done by
running the setup again, then booting the installed system, login as
root and run /sbin/lilo.
As far as I can remember you can also use Yast to determine where to
install lilo - on the MBR or on boot-disk.
