Is the DVD of Suse 7.3 bootable?

Is the DVD of Suse 7.3 bootable? I have a Samsumg DVD reader which works fine with all dvds. In fact it can read the Suse 7.3 DVD but it can't boot from it. Thanks. Regards, Freddy Chavez.
