Try using the LILO option mem=512M at the LILO prompt from the install
CD, I have found that certainly on Proliant 2500's it fails to correctly
ascertain the correct size and assumes you have only 16MB of RAM, I did
get it to install but it was painful and took all day!!. With the
correct memory size it runs quite well and found the Smart Array
Controller. You should first of all configure the array from the
SmartStart CD, and then install the Compaq diagnostics partition, this
is optional, but recommended.
