Have you tried executing the comand 'xhost +' (without quotes) as user ?
Hi, yes. In fact, the way I run yast2 is: 1. open console 2. xhost +localhost 3. su root
In my case, yast2 display this message (run from console, as root):
/usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2bignfat get_modulesdata qt -T qt: No such server module. Please check YaST2 log file.
Run 'y2bignfat -h' for help on usage eof process closed: 1280
The yast2 window DID appear, with top green banner, left and right panel, and 3 buttons (help, search, close). However, the left and right panels are empty, and there's a message box saying that: "There was an error while attempting to obtain list of available modules. The list of displayed modules may be incomplete". Regards, Verdi
