After installation it's no problem since there's an 2.4.18 based update kernel on the maintenance web that has that more current driver, so for installation support will have to provide a boot floppy with that kernel or tell you how to make one (should be easy but I haven't done such a thing for years).
Well, I just heard you DID use suse support and using the "megaraid" module was the answer, but that they also created a new modules driver disk with that new driver Dell recommended. Michael
