After printing (and being unable to print) many, many, many test pages. I found an unusual problem. I currently can print from open office, can select diferent fonts from the menu and use them (ie print), etc. My problem is this, If I use certain specific fonts (BD Garmonde is one, I'm not sure which other fonts will cause this problem) in a document then, when it comes time to print things will all appear as normal, I'll recieve a requester saying that the file has been sent to the printer, (just as normal), but then nothing will happen at all. Nothing shows up in the printer que, no error echoed in the shell. As long as I don't choose the wrong fonts printing will work as it should. My question is How can I get OO to be able to print all the fonts it thinks are available? or failing that how can I remove fonts that don't work from the dropdown menu. I've been to the openoffice.org site but frankly it's really not set up for answering users questions, its focus seems to be developers. PS staroffice5.2 seems to work fine as do other apps. -- dh Suse Linux 7.2 professional kernel 2.4.17, xFree86 4.2.0, kde 2.2.2 9:06pm up 1:45, 1 user, load average: 0.48, 0.36, 0.27
