I have a similar problem after upgrading from 7.2 to 8.0. I'm using
gramofile to record LP's to wav files. Under 7.2, everything was
working fine. Now, when I play the wav files that I just recorded
under 8.0, they sound like when playing a 33 rpm LP with the
turntable set to 78 rpm's.

My sound card is working because I can play wav files I made when I
had 7.2 installed. Any ideas?

Thank you.
