Forget about yast2. Open a terminal.
Give the command yast --mask install
>From within yast choose "install packages"
Select ftp as source
Change the default location (just type over the existing one) to
a nearby suse mirror with the newest kde packages, for example
ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/os/Linux/distributions/suse/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_7.3/
Then enter the directory base to install the base packages and then the
directory applications to install the applications.
Or familiarize yourself with apt to make life real easy. See
http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm/

Good luck

Anders
