While not as elegant as alt+printscr in Windows, Ksnapshot works pretty good and you can do some things in it that you cannot do with alt+printscr such as get snapshot of pulldown menus, etc. Also discovered Image magic which allows rotation, annotations, etc. Together they are quite nice. Thanks for the help. The Gimp can do this as well.
Yes, but the gimp is big and takes a while to start. (KSnapshot takes too long to start for me, in some of the moods I get in :-).) It's OK if you're already running the gimp *anyway* though. I like KSnapshot - I can grab things and save them straight out to my public_html and paste the URL into my IRC window if I need to show someone something. -- Rachel -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com
