Suddenly synaptic froze when building the dependency tree. I uninstalled 
ans reinstalled apt, aptlib and synaptic but I still have the same 
problem. The only unusual thing I did before the freeze was install the 
kernel sources, they've since been uninstalled but synaptic still 
freezes. I can still update using apt-get though, just the synaptic side 
seems to be affected. Any clues?
