Hi:
I have just ordered SuSE 8 and I'm waiting for it to arrive. My
system has 7.2 Personal installed, and I use it daily to work, mainly
developing accounting software for Linux. I have a lot of additional
software installed, some of which I had to compile myself. Therefore,
I can not afford to be without it for long. In the past, whenever I
bought a new version, be it Red Hat, Mandrake or SuSE, I was always
told it was best to do a fresh install instead of an upgrade, because
the upgrade programs were not that smart. Has this changed with SuSE
8? Any successful experiences?
Thank you.
