Hi all,

I have Suse 8.0 and I would like to play Wolfenstein 3D on Linux. I got the
files from my windows installation, and I got the linux binaries.
I am using XFree 4.2.0 with glx, and the 3dmodules are configured (I can play
to suse 3d games such as racer and tux racer).
Wolfenstein exits with the error message:
Sys_Error: GLimp_Init() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

Here it is the 3Ddiag outout:

xearo7:/usr/local/games/wolfenstein # 3Ddiag
3Ddiag version 0.397
Verifying 3D configuration:
Using 3dinfo

Tests for correct OpenGL libraries/GLX extensions:
Symbolic Links ... done.
/etc/sysconfig/3ddiag (SCRIPT_3D=switch2xf86_glx) ... done.

----------------------- NOTE -----------------------------------
If 3D hardware OpenGL configuration is not stable enough, you
should switch back to 'Mesa Software Rendering'. You can
verify this configuration with the command "3Ddiag --mesasoft".

Checking GLU/glut runtime configuration:
GLU ... done (package mesaglu)
glut ... done (package mesaglut)

Any idea?

Praise
