I have not got as far as looking for myself yet (hope to inthe next day or so) but I'm wondering, is there some reason you can't apply the patches to the SuSE kernel? I intend to try, but if someone already knows that it's not possible, I'd appreciate the heads up.
Why do you crossport this mail to suse-linux-e ? I thought it was a suse-security thread (that i also read and surely don't want to read on two suse lists even if it's very interesting...). Francis
