I got the answer to this on another list, but being the nice guy I am ;-) I
thought I would share it with the list:
I created a new user, logged in as that user and brought up a console. Logged
in as root, navigated to (cd) /home/newuser/KDesktop and then did a cp -r
/home/mydirectory/KDesktop. Now everything works! The original message is
below for those that can't remember that far back ;-)
**Original message:
I have a copy of source that I am trying to compile (see: PDF files won't
open.) that I am trying to dish in my trash I keep getting an eror message
that says:
Access denied to /KDektop/Trash/gimp-print-4.3.0/lib/.deps/vasprintf.Plo
There seem to be a lot of files in this /.deps/ folder that give the same
error message. I realize that this is probably quite a simple problem, but I
have never come across this before. Anyone with any ideas?
Cheers,
Brian
