Hi all,

2 days ago I installed Suse 8.0 on my system & have am having problems with 
KDE / Xserver crashing when left overnight & after the last crash, the kdm 
login screen will not start.

If I set the sysconfig to load the XDM login screen, it works, but if I set it 
back to KDM, it does not work.

Thease are the errors from the message log:
Jun  1 10:07:40 hotgirls kdm[5349]: Server unexpectedly died
Jun  1 10:07:55 hotgirls kdm[5349]: Server for display :0 can't be started, 
session disabled

& this is a small snippett from the XFree86 log where lines like this appear a 
lot more.

The video adapter is a 2mb in-built Cirrus Logic GD5446 & the monitor is a 
Hansol 701A. The Xserver starts with XDM, just not KDM.
