I don't really dispute your points, but there is still a need for systems
to be produced at least in the major languages. Just on Great Britain,
there are still several native languages (such as Welch). I would not like
to have to categorize the native languages still spoken in Uzbekastan or
many other countries.
But, in air traffic control, English is spoken virtually the world over,
and probably should be the language used for technical data processing.
