Is this CUPS? my settings in the Gimp at least were correct for the printer. I have tried using Webmin, but the C80 driver isn't listed even after install of Gimp-Print. YAST 2 doesn't list it either, but says something about another non-YAST 2 printer setup existing. Anyone using Webmin have a word of advice? - Did you get gimp to work? The advantage is that it uses gimp-print - directly and so you can be sure there's no problem with CUPS. Still stuck with the paper being spit out. - I've had this kind of problem once. I got page after page with some - garbled text on the first line and nothing else. This happened when I - changed to a new printer. I think the solution was to delete (or rename - - that way you can go back) .lpotions and .gimp-1.2 from my home - directory, then go into cups and remove the printer entirely and start - again. This is greek to me. You mean I now have to delete CUPS and The GIMP and reinstall to get this to work? I know this isn't your fault, but what kind of #¤%* OS is this anyway? We have been working on this for how long now and I have to redo 2/3 of what has already been done to be able to maybe get this to work? Cheers, Brian
