What does "rpm -qa | grep <pkg with different dependencies >" tell you, e.g. "rpm -qa | grep sudo" Does it give you 2 packages as a result? On maandag 27 mei 2002 12:05, Ralph F. De Witt wrote:
Hello: I recently tried to update to KDE3 3.01 supplimantary directories, but had some seg faults when trying to install and other problems. So I backed out all packages and reinstalled from DVD for SuSE 8.0. Today I finally tried out Apt-get and came up with these errors.
All updates for security etc were done with YOU from ftp.gwdg.de and had no errors. KDE3 3.0.1 update was done by ftp using Kong to download the whole directory I found no errors in the download file sizes.
My question to all is What is the best way to proceed to correct these errors? It looks like most of these errors were introduced with the normal SuSE update mechanism. I have written SuSE feedback.
