Is SuSE going to make KDE updates available via YOU? 'Would be nice if they did!
This is already been done, with to my opinion, a better application. Have a look at the Advanced Package Tool (APT) for SuSE. APT respects the rpm database, it provides the rpms released by SuSE, but it provides the rpms released by James Ogley (www.usr-local-bin.org) and ximian as well. So there is no need to goto: ftp://ftp.gwdg.de:0/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE as APT is doing this automatically for you :)) To keep your whole system (including KDE of course) up to date only 2 commands are sufficient! Or if you prefer to click use synaptic, in that case it is only 3 clicks :) Because of APT I have updated my kde packages among others already 2 days ago! It is easy to install, so give it a try :) More details at: http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm -- Richard Bos Democracy cost a fortune
