I think the easiest Wine to use is CodeWeavers version:

http://www.codeweavers.com/technology/wine/download.php

It comes in an RPM and has a utility to automatically configure Wine for
you. I don't think their version is the most stable -- wineHQ or wineX are
better alternatives. But it's a good place for a newbie to start.
